The lights dimmed and darkness enveloped the concert hall. Blue lightsticks were the only sources of light. The cheering and screamings died down and a blanket of silence fell over them. There was a huge wave of anticipation in the air. Then, a familiar tune broke the silence. The stage lit up and there sat all thirteen members of Super Junior.
The fans cheered as their idols appeared right in front of their very eyes, all decked in white outfits and sitting on the edges of the runway-like stage.
The love song, “Marry U”, was blasting throughout the hall, and the fans began to sing along.
“평생 곁에 있을게 I do, 널 사랑하는 걸 I do, 눈과 비가와도 아껴주면서 I do, 너를 지켜줄게 My love…”
The voices of the thousands and thousands of fans rang out in the hall, all coming together as one just to sing the song. They were all synchronized, voices full of sincerity and love, all just for their idol, Super Junior.
Back on stage, the love and warmth that radiated from the thousands of fans could be felt by Leeteuk, Hankyung, Shindong, Donghae, Eunhyuk, Kyuhyun, Siwon, Kibum, Sungmin, Ryeowook, Kangin, Sungmin and Heechul. For the thirteen men on stage, hearing the voices and seeing their sources right in front of them was a very emotional thing. Without them, they wouldn’t have made it this far. Without them, they wouldn’t be here. Without them, they would only be nothing.
Each and every one of their fans were like part of Super Junior’s wings; supporting them and lifting them up higher and higher, soaring.
Super Junior’s leader, Leeteuk’s mind was clear of any worries and hardships – he didn’t care for any of that anymore; all he wanted to do was to close his eyes and listen to his fans sing on and on throughout the whole night. He didn’t want the music to end, he wanted this night to last forever. As he sat there on stage with the other members, eyes closed, heart and ears open, he began to cry.
As the first tear drop rolled down his cheeks, he turned around in search of the other members, only to find them crying as well. And it was at this point of time, that he decided to sing along with the fans as one. The music became louder and that was the signal for Super Junior to sing along, as well. As the other members picked up their mics and managed out the lyrics while tears kept rolling down one after the other, Leeteuk was finding it the hardest thing in the world to stop his tears from flowing and start singing. The eldest member in Super Junior picked up his mic and as he opened his mouth to sing, he found it hard to allow any words to escape in between his lips. He bowed to his fans, and tried to force words to come out again. But he couldn’t. He was truly, deeply moved, and it was all because of his fans.
As the song ended, Leeteuk knew that it was the last opportunity that he could get for the night, and he drew in a deep breath and finally managed out, with all his heart and soul, with all the sincerity in the whole world,
