When Leeteuk stepped into the house, late in the middle of the night, it wasn’t like last time, where the house was lit and his friends were sleeping in the living room; this time, everything was pitch black, and Heechul and the others have gone to their own rooms to sleep.
The young man was tired, yet contented, after an entire day out spent only with Kangin. He went straight to his room and plopped himself down on the bed. And before he knew it, he was once again, gazing up at the stars, sorting out his thoughts.

Kangin was walking very slowly now, he was thinking; he was troubled. The man didn’t want to hurt Leeteuk but he also didn’t want to break his promise to his friends to continue on the game. He sat down on the streets for a while, leaned back against a wall, stared up into the night sky, and sighed.
“I’m not going to let him go.”

After the first meeting, Leeteuk and Kangin became closer, and they were going out together more and more often. The theme park, the movies, the zoo, the park, the soccer matches were all places where their dates took place, one after another.
“Kangin-ah,” Leeteuk began, outside his doorstep after being escorted home by Kangin, after their seventh outing, “all these outings…”
Kangin raised an eyebrow, looking puzzled.
“…Are they counted as dates?” Leeteuk asked, shyly.
“Dates? Like, the ones couples in love go on?” Kangin laughed, and Leeteuk slowly regretted asking that question.
”Of course! I…I had better come clean now,” Kangin stammered a little at the end.
“I love you, hyung”

Those four words were stuck in Leeteuk’s mind, all throughout the night, and even the next morning. He didn’t know how to react when Kangin confessed to him, so he just smiled and went in the house. He wasn’t sure then, and neither was he sure now.
He himself thought that it was just infatuation towards Kangin, but now that the latter had said that he loved him, Leeteuk was definitely thinking about his own feelings. He felt a mix of excitement, joy and confusion. It has been a long, long while since someone has said “I love you” and actually mean them to him, and that was what brought Leeteuk joy. Excitement, because there was this rush going on inside of him, as maybe, he has really found his significant other, and confusion, as to what he should do now, since Kangin has confessed.Labels: chapter seven
