Leeteuk slowly climbed his way up to the rooftop, found a windy spot and laid down, looking up at the stars. Thoughts swirled and tangled up in his mind as he searched his past. It has been a long time since he was in love.

There was a slight breeze that swept unto Leeteuk’s soft and flawless skin, and the young man closed his eyes. He was deep in thought, and the occasional rustle of the leaves were the only sounds heard.

Then, there was a loud crack that broke the peace like a sudden ripple in the calm pond. Leeteuk opened his eyes to see Kangin settling himself down right beside him, struggling a little due to his built on the small roof.

“Hyung, why’re you up here, by yourself?”

Leeteuk let out a deep sigh before replying, “I was thinking.”

”About?”

“Things.”

”What things?”

“About,” Leeteuk sat up to face Kangin, but he couldn’t look his dongsaeng straight in the eyes; it was too awkward for him, “about Kangteuk.”

“What about Kangteuk?”

“I seem to have…fallen for you.”

Kangin made no immediate reply after what Leeteuk said, but there was a wide smile that was growing on his handsome face. Kangin held on to Leeteuk’s shoulders firmly.

”Look at me. Straight in my eyes.”

”Wh..what?”

Kangin leaned forward towards Leeteuk and kissed him on the lips. The soft and delicate touch of Leeteuk’s lips on Kangin’s own was so addictive, that Kangin didn’t want their lips to leave each other, but he had to. Kangin’s expression turned serious, yet with a slight hint of tenderness and warmth.

“I can’t change your past with all its heartache and pain, nor the future with its untold stories. But I can be there now when you need me to care.

I can’t keep your heart from breaking and hurting, but I can cry with you and help you pick up the pieces and put them back together. Kangteuk or not, I’m going to care for you for the rest of my life, with love that keeps growing and nurturing day by day.”

And with that, Leeteuk knew for sure that, Kangin felt the same way he did.
